Vehicle report questions, answered

The practical details to know before buying your report.

Is RegoLens a government website?

No. RegoLens is an independent commercial service. The original PPSR search certificate is supplied separately from the RegoLens report.

Is REVS a separate extra?

No. REVS is the familiar name for the former state registers. The current security-interest search is through the national PPSR. We do not charge for an additional “REVS” search on top of the PPSR report.

Does a report show every accident or the loan balance?

No. This product does not promise a complete accident history, owner history, finance balance or odometer history. A security interest and a debt balance are different things.

Can I check any vehicle identifier?

Our direct VIN form requires a full 17-character VIN. Registration lookups depend on source availability. For an older vehicle with a different chassis identifier, use the official PPSR search options rather than changing the number to fit our form.

What does unavailable mean?

That section did not provide a usable finding for the search. It is not a clear result. Stolen-vehicle information supplied through PPSR/NEVDIS excludes Tasmania; check the relevant transport authority where needed.

What if I cannot retrieve a paid report?

Keep your purchase reference and contact info@regolens.com.au. Explain whether payment, report preparation or downloading failed. Do not email card numbers or passwords.
