Rego check: start with a registration plate

Enter the plate and its registration state, confirm the car, then choose whether to purchase a vehicle history report.

Identification first

Select the state shown on the registration plate and enter the plate number. RegoLens attempts to identify the vehicle through the available source for that state. Review the returned details before continuing.

Registration and finance are different checks

The initial vehicle lookup is not a paid PPSR certificate. It does not establish ownership or confirm that a car has no finance. Registration details and expiry are only shown where the source supplies them. Use your state transport authority for its official registration enquiry.

If the lookup is unavailable

You can enter the full VIN instead. Do not guess a number or assume that missing information means a clear result. The paid RegoLens report costs A$10 and is requested only after confirmed payment.
